Pexo

Credit Rules

1. What Are Credits & How to View Them

Pexo uses a credit-based billing model. When you use certain features of the service, credits are consumed. Credits cannot be exchanged for cash. They may only be used by the account that received them and may not be transferred or resold.

To view your credit balance, check the top-right corner of the Home page. Click the credit balance to see a detailed breakdown. For a full history of your credit usage, click View details. Usage is grouped in 10-minute intervals; actual charges occur in real time.

2. Types of Credits & How You Get Them

TypeDescription
Subscription creditsGranted with your paid subscription for each billing cycle (e.g. monthly or annual). You receive the credits for that cycle as per your plan.
Bonus creditsGranted through promotions, campaigns, trials, or other means we specify.
Add-on creditsGranted when you purchase a credit pack or add-on in a one-time transaction. Add-on credit packs are available to users with an active paid subscription.

The exact amount of each type per cycle or per purchase is as shown in your plan, on the product page, or at checkout.

3. How Credits Are Consumed

When you use a feature that consumes credits, the system automatically deducts them from your account in the following order:

  1. Earliest expiry first — credits closest to expiring are used first, regardless of type.
  2. By type, when expiry dates are the same — Bonus → Subscription → Add-on.

This is designed to minimize waste of credits that would otherwise expire.

4. Validity & Expiry

  • Subscription credits Tied to the current billing cycle. Any subscription credits left unused at the end of that cycle normally expire and do not roll over to the next cycle. If you upgrade your plan mid-cycle, the additional subscription credits granted at upgrade also expire at the end of the same current billing cycle. Whether any rollover is allowed is as stated in the product.

  • Bonus credits Valid for the period stated when we grant them or in the relevant campaign rules. If no period is stated, our rules as published in the product or help center apply. Unused bonus credits expire at the end of that period.

  • Add-on credits From the time they are added to your account, and for as long as your account remains in good standing and is not terminated, they are valid for the period stated in the product or at purchase. If no period is stated, our rules as published in the product or help center apply. Unused add-on credits expire at the end of that period.

Once credits expire or are forfeited, they cannot be restored or compensated.

5. Cancellation & Termination

  • How to cancel You can cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal (manage subscription and billing). In the product, go to AccountManage subscription & billing—you will be redirected to Stripe's hosted page where you can cancel, update your payment method, and view invoices. If you need help, email us at support@pexo.ai or use the contact options described in the product or help center.

  • After you cancel Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing cycle. No further charges are taken starting from the next cycle.

    • Subscription credits: May be used until the cycle ends. When the cycle ends, unused subscription credits normally expire and do not roll over; they are not refunded or compensated.
    • Bonus credits: Remain governed by Section 4 until they expire or are used.
    • Add-on credits: Keep their own validity under Section 4 and may still be usable after your subscription ends; however, some outputs (such as exported videos) may include a Pexo watermark or other limitations as shown in the product.
  • We terminate your subscription or account (e.g. for breach, abuse) Your right to use paid features and credits may end at the time of termination or as we notify. Unused credits—including any remaining add-on credits—may be forfeited without compensation, except where the law requires otherwise.

6. Plan Changes (Upgrade & Downgrade)

You may change your subscription plan at any time on the Pricing page. Different changes take effect at different times.

  • Upgrades take effect immediately.

    • You will be charged the price difference between your new plan and your current plan upfront.
    • You will immediately receive the credit difference between the new plan's allowance and your current plan's allowance.
    • Your current billing cycle is not reset. Both your existing credits and the newly granted differential credits expire at the end of your current billing cycle.
    • From the next billing cycle onward, you will be billed at the new plan's price and receive its full credit allowance.
  • Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

    • Your current plan and its credit allowance remain active until the end of the current cycle.
    • No price difference is refunded and no credits are adjusted for the current cycle.
    • From the next billing cycle, you will be billed at the new (lower) plan's price and receive its credit allowance.
  • Scheduled changes can be cancelled or replaced. Each subscription can have only one scheduled change at a time. Submitting a new scheduled change will overwrite the previous one. Cancelling a scheduled change does not involve any charge, refund, or credit adjustment.

  • No refunds for plan changes. Subscription fees, upgrade price differences, and unused credits are non-refundable, except where required by law.

7. Changes & Questions

We may update these Credit Rules from time to time and will publish the current version on our website or in the help center. Continued use of the service means you accept the rules in effect at that time. For questions, contact us at support@pexo.ai or through the in-product feedback option.

Specific credit amounts, validity periods, and campaign rules are as shown in the product and on our website.
