Man Investigates an Empty Motel in Black and White

A man in a white shirt and dark tie sits alone in a sparse, high-contrast black and white motel room, noticing a card or note before wet footprints mysteriously appear across the floor.

Prompt

A man in a white shirt and dark tie is the subject of this high-contrast live-action noir mystery, set within a sparse motel or hotel room and a long corridor, presented entirely in black and white. He sits alone, notices a card or note, checks himself in a mirror, steps into the corridor, and returns as wet footprints appear across the room before it is left empty. The camera uses locked wide room compositions, mirror-based medium shots, corridor perspective, and detail inserts, with monochrome practical lamps, sharp reflections on the floor, and heavy shadow falloff, creating a lonely, uncanny, and suspenseful mood.
