Product Promo Video Templates

For a launch built around a new shape or finish, look for a reveal. If the selling point is what the product does, look for a demo that shows it working.

Picture a folding lamp. A slow turn can show off the brushed finish, but it tells you little about the hinge. To sell the folding mechanism, look for a sequence with room to show a hand opening the lamp and the light falling across a desk. Compare Floating Product Reveal with Product in Use. For a lamp launch, bring a clear reference of the lamp folded and another of it open on a desk. Which preview gives the hinge enough time on screen for someone to understand the change?

Watch the first shot with your own product in mind: would someone recognize the detail that matters, even with the sound off? Compare the openings in these product promo videos. If you already know what changed and want to turn the news into a launch piece, start with a product announcement video.

Questions?

We're here to make it clear. Check out our FAQs, and if you still have questions, Pexo is always ready to help.

Which feature should I show first?
Choose the one a viewer can see most clearly. For a spillproof lid, show the closed cup tipping and the surface staying dry. Save less visible specifications for the end.
Which layout works for several color options?
Look for repeated views with the product at the same size and angle. A viewer can then compare finishes directly. If you only have a good photo of one finish, a single-product reveal is a better fit.
How should a product promo end?
Choose one next step, such as seeing the full collection or checking the launch date. Show it alongside a recognizable view of the product.
